In the final week of training, all content specialists and therapists will participate in an intensive two-day (sleepover) workshop that will facilitate a direct encounter between participants, in-depth discussions on the core issues in comprehensive trauma therapy, and intensive technical analysis of the unique features of this form of treatment.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

They will employ the \"training the trainers\" approach in order to ensure propagation of a specialized cadre and an ongoing spread of potential professionals in the treatment of trauma deriving from major multi-scale disasters.\nIt should be noted that all participants in Level 3 of the program must undertake to train at least 10 colleagues as part of their involvement.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All participants in the program are requested to deliver a summary of their training (in a 3-4 hour learning session) to at least 10 colleagues in their respective places of work<\/b><\/p>

The two-day workship workshop on conclusion of the training program will serve in part for counselling the training propagators in the dissemination of knowledge to their colleagues<\/span><\/p>

The training was conducted in a hybrid format, delivered remotely over four weeks, with two sessions per week, three hours per session, via Zoom.<\/span>
<\/span> During the final week of the program, all content specialists and therapists participated in an intensive two-day seminar (including overnight accommodation). The seminar enabled direct engagement among participants, in-depth discussion of core issues in large-scale trauma treatment, and technical deepening of the unique characteristics of this field.<\/span>
<\/span> For the first time within the program, the HOMIYAH Protocol, developed during the Iron Swords War, was introduced and taught.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The <\/span>HOMIYAH Protocol<\/b> is a trauma-focused, time-limited clinical protocol designed to treat evolving PTSD and trauma-related syndromes.<\/span>
<\/span>The protocol is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Shalvata Mental Health Center and the Program for Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder at New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University, New York.<\/span><\/p>

The protocol integrates a diagnostic algorithm developed over the past three years by the <\/span>Combat PTSD Diagnostic Unit<\/b> at Shalvata Mental Health Center. This unit is responsible for assessing and formulating treatment recommendations for the most complex patients within the Rehabilitation Division of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAdmission Criteria<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Priority in the selection process is given to team leaders working in public institutions in peripheral regions. Additional emphasis is placed on applicants with experience in trauma treatment and direct exposure to trauma, with preference given to those working with trauma related to the October 7 events and the Iron Swords War.<\/span><\/p>

The program accepts <\/span>only candidates employed in the public sector<\/b>, with a minimum workload of one-third of a full-time position. Preference is given to clinic directors, team leaders, and clinical supervisors from the following professions:<\/span><\/p>
